Recommended2 years of Beard Growth untrimmed. Drea was AWESOME!!! A Beard Sculpt She made happen exactly what I pictured with her years of skill. I threw a Straight Razer Head Shave in for s&g & was not disappointed. Hot Towels & different certain products She used for certain situations. HIGHLY Recommended & will be back in 6-8 months for a clean up. Thanks Drea!! I feel like a new man. 5stars

I've worked next to Scissors and Scotch for over two years, they have had a consistent and very friendly staff the whole duration. Got a hair cut there recently and definitely rate it five stars.
Went for the first time today. My beard hadn't been touched in 7 months. Very professional and asked what I wanted and did a great job. Couldn't be happier.
I have been to your Des Moines location several times to get my head shaved and only had one bad experience which I will chalk up to no one being perfect. Vivian has shaved my head the last two times and has done a great job. The drinks are always on point especially the old fashioned. I am thinking about getting a membership but damn it is pricey.
Tiana is the best. She could probably cut hair in her sleep that’s how good she is. I started coming here last year, and now I won’t go anywhere else. Tiana recommended some great styling and haircut options for me, and always does a great job. Drinks are fantastic too!
Tiana is the one, y’all! Me and my husband had been at this barber shop twice only, but both times had been an amazing experience. My second visit was the best one tho. We arrived at the place after being hair-raped by a hair butcher at a “Spa” in Des Moines. I was almost in tears and about to go straight home and shave my head (It was that terrible). But Tiana took care of us and she did wonders! She was able to safe my cut and my husband’s and for a very generous deal. I’m still letting my hair grow longer to return again.... read more
