I had an appointment with Dr. Schwarze for a skin cancer screening two years ago. I showed him a spot on my scalp that I was concerned about because it looked like pictures I’d seen of basal cell carcinoma. He was dismissive, first saying he didn’t see anything, and then saying it was “nothing” when I pointed it out directly. My mother and I have been a patient of Dr. Schwarzes' for many years. We have received nothing but excellent care and expert and accurate assessing and treatment of our conditions. Very efficient staff, and great careful sanitizing of personal and office equipment. No longer close to home, but still willing to drive the extra miles to receive his expertise treatment. The doctor was curt with me and make fun of my attire which was casual because I was not working that day and did not think that I had to wear a suit and tie for an exam.

Low wait time, attentive, professional and accommodating staff. One of the few doctors I've been too, who really listens to you and wants to UNDERSTAND YOUR ISSUES. I know this sounds like this should be the norm, but as far as Doctors go in general - it is not. Highly recommend him as he appears to be extremely competent! Add to that his kind and friendly staff and you have a real winner here!!! Believe you me, I am extremely demanding and picky. So if you can make me happy, you gotta know... he must be a ten. Avoid Dr. Schwarze. I went in to ask about my acne as an adult and he gave me the whole "don't have more than one girlfriend at a time" speech he gives to kids in junior high, and that was it. He stepped out and came back with a shot for an especially large pimple on my jawline then gave me a weird look when I asked him what was in it. Dr. Schwarze made me feel uncomfortable asking questions. He then botched a simple mole removal and left a quarter-sized scar in place of a half-a-pea-size mole. I contracted a skin infection in 2015, which my regular doctor only prescribed Nystatin cream. Dr. Schwarze prescribed an antibiotic that I took for 5 days and the skin infection is gone! Finally, after years....gone! He takes the time to talk to his patients. Thank you.

I have been in Dr Schwarze care for some months as it is an ongoing problem but every month there has been improvement & progress whereas before I didnt know who to turn to or trust The 1st doctor could not diagnose my problem the 2nd doctor had me on on 3 month waiting list My 1st call to Dr Schwarze office was an immediate appointment I consider him to be informative patient & "Just Knows His Stuff" I have recommended him to many & everyone has the same views.

Dr. Schwarze gave me a level of care better than or equal to any I've received from other doctors. He took the time to listen, closely examined all my different conditions, and I left with multiple treatments, advice on over the counter products, tips on hygiene, and clear instructions on the prescriptions he wrote. He even noticed a problem on my skin that I wasn't aware I had when I walked in. Best dermatologist ever, and a very nice man, I would recommend him to any and every one!
