Mike is a hands on business owner who is willing to consult with me to find the best products and information to make my time on the water successful. Even if it's not going to benefit him, and I appreciate that. I live a long way away and rarely ever make it into the shop in person. He's great at identifying my needs and shipping me the goods!

There are flyshops... Then there is Schultz Outfitters.... Between knowledge, talent, and different streamer fisheries.... They are HANDS DOWN, the fly shop of the midwest, or anywhere! ELITE doesn't cover it, and they are IN with all the BEST COMPANIES!
Mike Schultz is arguably the finest, most knowledgeable outfitter in SE Michigan. Furthermore, his enthusiasm is contagious and very much appreciated. He's taken my son and I fly fishing for smallies numerous times and we had the time of our lives like it was our first time. Mike's staff at the store is amazing as they're so knowledgeable as well and eager to help. Their extensive selection of fly rods, reels and accessories is unsurpassed and I couldn't imagine shopping anywhere else. You guys are the best!
