Simply the best. A staple in Fond du Lac and on Highway 41. I've spent a lot of time in Seattle but no clam chowder compares to Schriner's
A must visit Wisconsin landmark! We stopped there every time we went up north when I was growing up.
Schreiners is the greatest the food is wonderful .I think it is the cleanest in wisconsin .The service is always great .The bakery is yummy .We stop every time we go past Fon Du Lac .The best .
I am sitting in the DELIGHTFUL Bernie's Pub and enjoying my dinner while checking emails and I just had the pleasure of having a WONDERFUL CONVERSATION with a delightful man regarding the restaurant industry. The gentleman turns out to be Paul Cunningham, the President of Schreiner's. What a delightful Man to take the time to chat with a customer who was enjoying their FABULOUS RESTAUTRANT! My grandparents discovered Schreiner's many years ago. Mom and Dad took us there whenever we were in the area. Whenever we are driving through and they are open, we pop in for a bite with my son and niece. They are fourth generation fans. The staff is always so kind and professional. Service is quick and courteous. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is warm, inviting and relaxing. Prices are reasonable and the pies are scrumptious.
