My go to favorite for bkfast. I love to take family there.

I've been to Schreiner's before and ALWAYS enjoyed my experience. This is why I chose to meet a childhood friend that I hadn't seen in 40 years at your restaurant. We met for breakfast at 10:30 am. I bragged about the old fashioned hard rolls like we could get as kids. At 10:30 am they were gone! The service was pretty slow. It took almost 5 mins for us to get seated in a nearly empty restaurant. There was definitely a lack of staff. My friends ordered Omelets. Omelets are supposed to be yellow and fluffy. Pancake was horribly dry. When asked how our meal was, I mentioned that the pancakes weren't eaten because they were dry. Nothing. Radio silence. Also ordered a kids meal. Did not get cookie at the end like we were supposed to. Boo.
Excellent as always. Everything is homemade and delicious. Service was excellent.
Been enjoying Schreiner's since the 1970s. It's like having a meal at home. Great food and a wonderful, friendly staff. We'll drive up from Madison to have lunch sometimes.
