We’re one block from the Metropolitan Theatre and dozens of downtown Morgantown restaurants. West Virginia University is a five-minute walk from our hotel, and Mountaineer Field and WVU Coliseum are less than two miles away. Walk to PRT Walnut Station and Caperton Trail, just a couple minutes away.

The counter in the room wasn’t clean there were crumbs on it, the sofa in room 301 had a stain on it that made me uncomfortable. Also, note that there is a $12 parking charge for using their parking garage and no parking to speak of in the area. Other area hotels have free parking. I won’t stay here again, too many better options in the area.
The guests above us must have had an elephant in their room overnight. From 1am until 3am some large pet was running back and forth and it must have wore lead boots. Plus the guest ran water all night. I know they allow pets but that was ridiculous! Overall a poor experience.
The hotel is in a great location. In walking distance to restaurants and the met theater. Close to the college campus and wvy stadium. The staff is friendly and make you feel like home.
Shana was so friendly I can’t wait to come back. Please open the rooftop.
I recently stayed at the Scholar and Chris at the front desk was awesome. The place was clean and the location was very convenient to many restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend this place to stay in Morgantown!
