Great easy stay for one night in Morgantown. Rooms are very clean and spacious with fridge and coffeemaker (pods). Nice large barn door for the bathroom. Very close to university and has an amazing restaurant directly across the street (Von Blaze) and walking distance (one block) to High Street with more restaurants and shops.
The location is very accessible to restaurants and shops. The good thing is it wasn't during school year or else it would have been really challenging especially with the bars around. The room needs updating. What I can say best about the hotel is their STAFF. They uphold the meaning of 'customer service'. Especially when they took the initiative to call that I left my airpods. My time at Scholar Morgantown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton was a very bumpy and ALARMING experience that should’ve come with a disclosure. I would not recommend this hotel. I’m not one to write negative reviews but after 2 nights with horrible sleep and stress on a business trip, I am far beyond 1 star. The location is great in relation to restaurants and walkability to high street—this does come with the unfortunate side effect of you being able to hear vehicular traffic.
