Schmucker's has been a family-owned and operated Toledo dining tradition since 1948. Originally opened by Harvey and Nola Schmucker, the diner is currently run by the third generation of Schmuckers. Home cooked comfort food. Love their soups. Pie selection is second to none in Toledo.
I ate here for the first time this week. My aunt dined with me. It was her suggestion of good pie that convinced me to try it. We both had cheeseburgers and chips. It was really good. I also had coconut cream pie that I brought half home with me. Her favorite is the peanut butter pie. They stop in just for pie sometimes. It was a fun old school adventure.

Very warm service and large portions. A great value! Where else can you find so many pies and bologna sandwiches?
Still the same great trip down memory lane, very friendly staff. Food is good but not the same... probably all that Gov intervention where they can't use spices anymore. Awesome french fries, still hand made. Pie isn't like I remember it but then the sweet old lady that used to make it probably isn't alive anymore. The Meatloaf is amazing, and REAL mashed potatos too!
Great food and great staff. It's just a rather tight fit for seating during rush hours.
I've lived in Toledo all my life never actually ate at Schmuckers , my family always orders your pies for family functions and holidays I finally made it in today food was awesome our daughter loved sitting at the counter she thought it was so cool, definitely will come back again
Great experience every time. Don't sit at the counter, or you'll want to order everything they make!
