This place "Rocks". Great atmosphere and ran by great people. The Shoulder is the best and the Mac & cheese requires 2nds.
Schmidt's is a new and much welcomed addition to the Bee Cave/Lakeway dining scene. REAL bbq has finally arrived. I have been three times in the first week! I have followed the Schmidt BBQ creedo and skipped the utensils and passed on the sauce. Alright, I've had some sauce... it rocks! Moist bricket my fav. Friendly staff/they couldn't be nicer even under opening week stress. I highly recommend!
