Great care. The best operation for my lower back that I could've ever hoped for.
I saw Dr. Schlesinger in January and was told that I needed injections. I told him that I had already had spinal injections and didn't want them again. He said and I quote "you never received them from us". I still refused and was sent for a myelogram. He then saw me in the office again and performed my first surgery in February. I continued to have pain and was told once again that I needed to have injections. I agreed because the pain was even worse. After I had the injection, I passed out in the office. Greatest pain relief I could have ever hoped for. Thank you.
This doctor operated on 2 disc and afterwards there was a pocket of fluid developed and closed off breathing ! My friend was on a vent and in a medical induced coma for 3 weeks she now is in a rehab facility for 3 to 4 more weeks ! He absolutely screwed that one up for sure ! That pocket of fluid over the trachea wasn't even a side effect of the surgery ! And also the incision was across and then down very ugly incision and they went back in same incision to clean out fluid pocket !

I had a spinal decompression preformed by Dr scott... prior to the surgery he came in to "mark my back" and didnt speak to me or my husband instead he talked to the nurse and discussed a christmas party... the nurse told me before he arrived that she told him my surgery was 30 min earlier than it actually was so he would he on time... tgeir discussion of christ party continued into the OR where he nodded towards me and told her hed finish in a min waiting on me to be put under anesthetic... my drain tube was not put in prope... read more

Dr. Schlesinger has performed 3 fusions on me. The latest 2 weeks ago. I get around well. Do light housekeeping, etc. Pain level very manageable. Only surgeon I want working on me! I work with many people who will say the same thing. Great staff as well.
Dr. Schlesinger has helped me tremendously. He and his staff thoroughly explained the options and procedures to me. I made the right decision in putting my trust in him.
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Schlesinger. He diagnosed my problem immediately and I have had no problems since my surgery 9 weeks ago. Highly recommend him.
This doctor did back surgery on ne at 18 yrs old, he never offered to try something else first. On the day of my surgery he walked into the operating room and glanced at me and kept walking...never said a word. I went home with no clear instructions on how to dress my wound. I have had two more surgeries because of his awful surgery. My scar was HUGE and the next doctor to do surgery said that the previous incision was the worst he ever saw.
