I was having some issues with my Cannon 30D. I had gone to a much closer camera shop for advice. All they did was recommend a new camera. My husband and I went to Shiller's for help. The gentleman that helped me (Jim) did comment on how much more advanced the newer cameras are, but gave me some great advice on how to deal with my camera. I did buy a new camera. First time visiting Schiller's Camera store. Fantastic experience!! Did not expect such a great welcome and devotion. Frank Deame was the Sales Manager who helped me and patiently answered all my various questions. No pressure and 100% professional.
Jim was very helpful with my lens and camera purchase. I have bought from others but Jim & ScHiller's service is the best. It's a four hour drive from Arkansas but worth it.
Can't carry things I've asked for two or three times. Will have my printer ink one week, I come back the next week and "they don't carry it". The service is pretty darn slow and the sales people don't seem to be the most knowledgable of the equipment they're selling. If you want a camera company that will not only give you speedy service but also carry basic things every working photographer needs....go to Creve Coeur Camera.
