Dr Scherr is incredible! She truly is an angel on earth. Our child was suffering every single day of their life due to a Gtube. We were desperate, so when we saw Dr. Scherr, she went to work to try and help us. In time, Dr. Scherr was willing to give us a shot, and allowed our child to try and wean off the tube. Dr. Scherr spent 2hrs brainstorming with me when we went to her for a second opinion. Our other GI wouldn’t admit he was wrong and Dr Scherr agreed with our assessment and even found some solutions to other issues we didn’t notice. We switched to her permanently after the ori gal provider continued to be difficult. We haven’t had to have a 2hr visit since the first visit. It is really hard getting ahold of the nurse though. She is in UNLV health so they control the staffing. They are mostly ok just really busy.

Just like every other Ped's GI in this town. Doesn't spend the time to address needs and is surgery happy instead of treating the problem.
In just two visits she knew what was wrong with our daughter. Best Gi dr in town!! She’s amazing, you can ask questions and get straight answers.
She has been great with my daughter.
We changed insurance carriers in order to take our son to Dr. Scherr. my son had constant stomach pain, on several meds for acid reflux. She concluded it was his diet and to continue with 40ml of omeprazole acid meds plus added some other acid reducer loratadine at his 74lbs.
