Compared to wills eye this place runs like a well-oiled machine. I did have some issues with the people messing up my insurance a couple times which resulted in me needing to make a few phone calls...but as far as the doctors, the online system, and the overall patient care I am very pleased with Scheie eye. I have never had them be more than 20 mins late with an appointment and Dr. Tamhankar is an attentive and talented doctor that goes above and beyond for her patients. Thorough Examination
I believe treatment is based on income and status.insurance definitely.no service until they verify you have insurance. You'll get turned away the door no matter what. my low grade basic insurance they couldn't explain to me why I'm having a rapid red spot growth on the white part of my eye. And say it's normal when It's not. They only recommed Over-the-counter treat no no real explanation other than it happens to black people. What makes it even worse?
