Best Eye Doctor in the State of New Mexico period. I recommend anyone who needs your eye's taken care of to go and visit Dr. Schauer and staff. Very professional and outgoing and very helpful.
Dr. Schauer has a gift for correcting vision. My glasses are perfect every time and I have very poor eyesight. I highly recommend his services... so much so that I pay out of pocket to see him since he doesn't take my insurance! He really is that good.

I have lattice-degeneration. Dr. Schauer is very knowledgable, trustworthy, and listens and explains things in a down-to-earth, patient and kind manner! I have been trusting him with my eye health for most of my life, and even though I now live 2 hrs away, I choose him as my O.D. hands down - his care is worth it! Everyone else in the office is very helpful as well, going out of their way to accommodate needs. Thanks so much to all of you!
