I will never rent from this property management company again. I was also charged an excessive amount for nail holes in the wall to hang up curtain rods. I was also charged an excessive amount for paint that should have been touched up, but they decided to paint the whole wall. I was charged almost $700 for this as well as to replace a carpet. Schambs Property Management Group handled the return of a security deposit unprofessionally and unfairly to a tenant that never missed a rent payment and followed all of the tenant responsibilities and instructions regarding the move-out policies, except for the use of some screws rather than all nails in walls.The cost of the deductions from the security deposit was very excessive for screw holes (a charge of $645) due to four television wall mounts.
