I am truly surprised at these reviews. I recently went to Dr. Schambeau, (recommended by my daughter who is a new patient of his) after a tooth started hurting that another dentist had just put a crown on it. Come to find out, I now needed a root canal and another crown in order to fix what the other dentist screwed up. Dr. Schambeau's staff, from the front desk to the hygienist to his assistant could not have been more friendly or professional. I have been a patient of Dr . Schambeau for fifteen years and have received excellent care. Great staff, innovative and cutting edge technology used for quicker and easier care.
This guy is terrible!! I only chose this dentist because he was so close to home. He has single handedly destroyed my teeth. Just to have a simple filling done I was in so much pain for weeks! Not too long after I suddenly needed a root canal on the same teeth he supposedly corrected. Several years later the cap came out and needed to be recemented which never felt right and it was the same cap he was putting back in my mouth. Great dentist and wonderful office staff. He took care of my broken tooth with no pain.
Went in for check up. He stole all my silver out of my mouth that I had for over 40 years. He even cracked my implant and played dumb, like he didn't know what I was talking about. I never asked him to remove anything. I wouldn't refer him to a cat. Very unprofessional thief. I'm having problem with the low grade stuff he replaced my silver with.
Dr. Schambeau and his staff are very professional and personable. They brought clarity to my dental insurance policy and provided me with the necessary information for me to understand coverage and out-of-pocket expenses. Dr. Schambeau provided verbal and visual aids along with my patient chart giving me the proper information for me to make decisions on future treatment. Useful online appointment process and timely response. I will recommend dr. Schambeau and his staff to everyone.
Doesn't consult patient in deciding treatment. Likes to pad the bill with unnecessary x-rays, procedures and charges.
