Scenic 90 Cafe was opened in 1998 by Gus Silivos, a long-time restauranteur and chef in Pensacola, who wanted to bring a fun and friendly dining experience to East Pensacola Heights. Gus and family still own and operate the diner where 'great food and snappy service' has been the motto for eighteen years.

Nice atmosphere. They were busy and took awhile to get out food. I had the Chicken and Dimplings and my son had the liver and onions. I worked hard that day so sitting down to relax in some AC was great. I didn't like the Dijon Mustard Dessing, normally I do. Could have used more flavor with my chicken and dumplings bit not bad overall.
First time to visit. Definitely won't be our last. Chicken and waffles were easily the best I've ever tasted. Will be bringing family here when they visit!
The food was really good. Our server, not so good. When the place is almost empty, how hard is it to put coffee in my cup? I had to ask another server for coffee.
This was our first visit to this place and we won't be returning. Before we even got our food, we wanted to leave. My husband ordered coffee and his cup had lipstick stains on it. His water cup also had lipstick stains all over it. The few napkins we were given were also stained with something and dirty. The atmosphere and building were cool but we won't go back because of those bad first impressions. Cleanliness is a huge part of a restaurant's atmosphere.
Real feel of 50s nostalgia! Absolutely loved it and will definitely return!
