Very predatory. I missed a payment...sure, by fault. They disconnected service for the first time in 3 years. After I paid the past due balance, they told me that they could not restore service until I paid a depositof $150.00, but that if I chose not to restore service I would need to pay a early termination fee of $150.00. Scana Energy is pathetic and lies to their customers. I have spoke to a *** and then her Supervisor, M*******, then her Supervisor, T****, and was told her Supervisor D*** would call me back after her meeting and this was before 9:00 am. Needless to say she did not return my call before 4:15 so the service was not establish as it was to be on the Saturday prior to this day, Monday. The customer service is terrible, and they are trying to charge for an account that was never set up with them. I called and spoke to supervisor and didn't receive any help to resolve the solution. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. The supervisor and customer service representative lied to us on the phone about saying information was mailed, but nothing was ever received until they sent a huge bill. They couldn't even give me an answer they just kept repeating the same information over and over.

I had my service cut off when no one was home. I called and paid the bill. I was given a turn on date. They came again when no one wS home and told me someone 18 or over had to be there. For what. They weren't there when you turned it off. I called back and spoke to ***** who transferred me to a supv who said her name was ***. She said she listened to a call where I agreed to this. AGL is responsible for performing service requests for the marketers to include disconnecting and restoring service. To disconnect service does not require someone to be present, however, to restore service, in addition to turning the meter back on, the AGL technician has to check and relight the natural gas appliances. So bad service, they sent ** just 2 days before notice and cut our connection and as per there rule they cannot do it because they have to send 15 days prior notice and due to weather condition from December to February if temperature goes down around 35 degrees they cannot cut the service and today on Friday we submitted penalty but they said because of MLk holiday they will be here on Wednesday. Been working hard to fix financial errors from the past due to tragedy and financial hardships to buy a home for me and my children. Scana has refused to removed a 4 year old charge off from my credit report even tho it is paid in full.
