Used to be stellar, but has recently gone down hill. In my expirence, the sandwiches are sub par when the owner is not there. When the owner is there, they are much better.
Stopped by for a quick lunch, I was the only customer inside, and I waited for more than five minutes at the counter as several employees walked by me more than once without saying a word and avoiding eye contact. When others came inside who also weren’t being helped, I left. Wish I could have tried the food, but didn't get a chance. They also had a sign on the wall that said they “don’t do half sandwiches, so don’t even ask” which I thought was slightly aggressive, considering they charge up to $18 for a sandwich and can’t ... read more
update: I bought one of the 1 lb smoked kielbasa from the meat case and grilled it, and it was really good. The Italian sausages were good too but the kielbasa was the star. ------------------- This is a great butcher shop and sandwich shop and deli that has a wide variety of fresh and frozen sausages and even some grocery items. The most delicious and huge sandwiches I have ever had. The pastrami is amazing. Totally worth a visit!
