My only objection is that the hygenist insisted that she chart my mouth -- I have had this done once at my first visit but declined to have it repeated and did not want it done this visit either. However, the hygenist (Dawn) kept pushing and insisted that she was legally required to do it. I did not appreciate this pressuring since it has not been required when I declined previously. Please clarify for me why charting is a legal requirement for the patients. Thank youl.

Good experience, but I did have some questions in regards to insurance billing and it was hard to understand the explanations.

Lena is an excellent technician and did a very good job of cleaning (periodontal maintenance). My overall problem with SC Dental is that every time I come in I feel extraordinary pressure to do dental work that is very expensive and perhaps not actually needed at that time. I am retired on a fixed income and cannot afford to spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars on dental care. Why are your costs so excessive? Lena does not pressure me as much. Fantastic Dentist and Assistants...been seeing Dr. Boyd for years, along with my entire family. Very understanding and reassuring for some of us dental chickens!

My mouth was very numb so I could not notice that the temporary crown was a bit high and may need some adjustment
