Ordered to do a bunch of tests. Are they all necessary?? If they are, Shouldn't we at least been told what tests were for?? Doctor failed to provide explanation on results of tests. The only things he said was mentioning some names of the tests, and asked me to book the next appointment. He rushed out and into his next appointments, but i waited one hour to see him.

Not very likely to recommend Dr. Jovkar the staff is rude, I called for the first time and they said that they will do an exam but I will also need my Medical insurance as well? never had this before but oh well I thought that the receptionist was not very friendly or helpful

I’m 80 yrs. old and from Brazil. Because I do not live in the U.S., Dr. Jovkar insisted that I complete a full physical prior to surgery. That’s the way he is: overly careful and 100% responsible. I felt great, so didn’t understand why I needed a physical; but, the more I thought about it, that’s exactly the kind of person I wanted to fix my cataract problems. Every step of the operation and recovery procedures were fully explained. By the way, he did a great job and I’m back enjoying Brazil!

After my last appointment February 2015, I am still confused about professional eye care. I've had very good eye exams in the distant past. Jovkar did not adequately address my questions. After less than ten minutes of actually seeing Dr. Jovkavr for first first time, he set me up for two immediate cataract surgeries. I went home overwhelmed. Then I cancelled surgery. My eyes actually improved as I started to take eye vitamins. I passed driver's test. A I do not have an eye care provider.
