funky smells, paper thin walls, and bad management People their are not the greatest. I lived their for a year and had a few issues that took a while to get fixed. They charge fees for everything. The management is money hungry and will find ways to charge you for anything. I sent them my keys through the mail when i moved out in a very sturdy package (verified through the postal service), and they said that the package had ripped and the keys were not in it. Haven for short term leases I think for getting a short term lease on the campus area Saxony is the best place. They have furnished apartments and also rent out dishes, pots and pans. So if you are an exchange student in Madison or are on work for expect to be in Madison for less than a year Saxony is the best place to stay. It is conveniently located in downtown about 5 minutes from Mendotta lake and State street and only 10-15 minutes from the campus buildings.
