Saxon Pub, located on South Lamar, has a very intimate setting and possesses a classy atmosphere. Live bands and more make this pub quite a hang-out for the locals. Although there is no food available here, you can always bring your own food or even order for that matter. Sports is broadcast on the multiple screens during the day. Saxon Pub is a great place to unwind with some refreshing beer. A comfy ambiance to say the least. Cheers!

This is one of my favorite places in Austin! Not a bad seat In the place!
The Saxon Pub is amazing! It's a great venue and I've seen many wonderful musicians there! Ginger Leigh is my favorite!
One of the last great places in Austin to see great musical talent almost every night of the week. I hope Austin never let's it go.

Saw Hayes Carll there a year ago in a solo show. Would have enjoyed it more if some of the patrons would stop talking during the show
In my opinion this iconic Austin Texas music venue, bar, lounge, and social gathering hot spot epitomizes the spirit of Austin! You can go in for a grim drink, sit in the corner and drink your sorrows away. One word: legendary! The Saxon Pub is a must for anyone who loves Americana.
We enjoyed our time at Saxon Pub. We were treated very well and enjoyed our favorites,The Nelson Family. Paula,Micah,with IVR, Folke Uke(Amy Nelson-Cathie Guthrie) Raelyn Nelson and Never Forget, Raelyn & Paula's musicians.We will return.
Great venue for "up close and personal" music performances.
