Update: 5 weeks with on and off AC. 4 work orders and still not working. No apologies, no real techs, just bandaid fixes that don’t last. Would not recommend. The location is great. Unfortunately that’s the only really great thing I have to say. Early in our time at Sawmill Crossing we noticed an issue with birds being in our walls within vents. Yes, multiple walls. Now I’m not talking a quiet noise here and there. It quite literally sounded like they were in our apartment, chirping and moving about every day. First of all...When my wife and I moved in, this place was managed by Champion. Our experience with Champion was 5/5, and everything was great. If we had an issue, it was resolved within a day or two. Everything went as you'd expect. The property changed hands a few months ago and is now under the management of AMC LLC. EDIT: I would like to add that since I have made this review, the staff at Champion has made several attempts to contact me, address the issues, and correct the situation. I had an hour-long conversation with Morgan, who took the time to address every single issue that I raised. Six years in, and I’m still loving Sawmill Crossing! The staff is uniformly helpful and considerate, repairs are always done on time, and the company keeps making upgrades to the buildings. Recently, they’ve begun upgrading the apartments, and replaced all the locks on the buildings, making them much more user-friendly and secure! You can’t beat the affordability and location of the complex, either! Everything else nearby is at least $200-$300 more for much less space!
I have lived here for almost a year now and we love it. Not to mention the office staff is amazing. They make you really feel a home. :)
