I called Save Home Heat to connect a new (already purchased) battery for my back up sump pump, and take away my old battery. They said it would be $75 for the call. I asked again, to learn how much the total bill would be, explaining that it was a simple matter. They said that when the service man arrived, he would tell me if there would be an additional charge. When the service man came, he told me it would cost an extra $150 for labor and $50 for the battery disposal. That is a total of $275 for a very simple task. I ended... read more
