Helpful to college kids too! I am a female college student with a touchy 95 Honda Accord. I have been taking my car to the guys at Auto Tech since I started as a freshman. They have always been incredibly helpful, never pushy and I have felt very taken care of them. It's so nice to have someone to count on when you are away from home and parents. I recommend them to any college student!
Auto Tech Of Athens is outstanding I have been getting my cars serviced from Doug and his team for the last three years. He has saved me from being fleeced by others in the area including a Honda dealer who said that i needed to get my brake drums replaced on a nearly new car. Doug and his team have always offered valuable advice whether it relates to buying a car or maintaining it or selling it off. A worthy investment I've taken sick (and not so sick) cars to Autotech of Athens since I was in high school. I'm now nearly 40. There is not a more attentive, responsive, responsible and kind group of guys. If I lived out of state, I'd make the drive. If I lived out of the country, I'd still solicit their advice.
Auto Tech of Athens I have been taking my cars to autotec for 15+ years and couldn't agree more with the first review: excellent work, smart, competent, honest -- there is no better auto repair shop on the planet!
Strawberry shortcake! The Savannah Room has been a nice place to have student lunches with faculty, etc. --a little out of the way, not much on atmosphere (feels like a chain hotel), but quite nice food and an amazing strawberry shortcake that they have a great reputation for.
I propose a toast... A true hidden treasure, the Savannah Room is hidden within the Georgia Center for Continuing Education. A bit pricier at dinner, but you can find an amazing deal on elegant dining during the lunch hours. I've never understood why its tables aren't full at every meal. The food is perfect, satisfying, plentiful, beautifully presented... and cheap at lunch!!! Even the servers, mostly UGA students, are very pleasant and friendly. Cheers to the Savannah Room!
It doesn't get any better than this! You can trust Auto Tech to give you the very best in repairs, sservicing and advice on Honda, Toyota and Acura cars and trucks. They are totally reliable, no nonsense, and honest. And did I say funny and friendly too?!
