We enjoyed the historic district. Beautiful homes and architecture! Also the "market" area as well.
We absolutely loved our Savannah visit! We stayed in the Historic District so we could walk everywhere. We were suppose to split our time in Hilton Head but Hurricane Florence caused us to extend our Savannah trip and we are so glad we did. My daughter and I (age 24) still got our beach time in at Tybee Island. Our entire trip was wonderful.
The people. The food. The architecture. To call cultural experience.
No place on earth like it. My happy place!

Charming city!
We went down for a girls beach trip and thought we would go sightseeing in Savannah one day. We fell in love with the city and spent more time in Savannah than at the beach. We went sighseeing all four days we were there and still didn't see everything. We definitely want to go back but maybe in the fall because it was HOT!!
Just were there on the last day of our vacation, visited the Historic District and down on the river Town stores...just wonderful!! Lots to do and look at ...had a wonderful time.
