Absolutely superior facials – I have had problems with acne for years, and various medical treatments, including Accutane, have failed to permanently solve my problem. Anyway, I have always found that any decent facial does help my skin, and I have seen various aestheticians in several cities (including at New York's Mario Badescu, which I found to be nowhere near as good as its reputation had lead me to expect). my skin has never looked better – I've been visiting Sava regularly for about two years, and have always had a wonderful experience. Although I've had brow-shaping and waxing as well, the facials, and one recommended product in particular, have transformed my skin, and I regularly receive compliments from patients and others regarding my complexion. I can't thank Barbara enough! It's a wonderful atmosphere, and a delight to have such a service near my neighborhood.
Simply Wonderful – I have been to this spa numerous times for brow shaping, waxing, and mani/pedi treatments both with Joana herself and her lovely crew of talented aestheticians. Best Kept Secret – I was visiting the museum and looked up restaurants and spas in the area so that I could treat myself to a day of indulgence. Lets just say I never made it to the museum. I made an appointment for a facial and stayed for a manicure and pedicure. The products are luxurious as is the experience of being at SAVA. Truly wonderful – I am new to the area and was looking for a small quaint place where I could get my waxing done. I found this place through citysearch and found that the reviews were right. The staff is great, skillful, and keen on details. Love them. I plan to visit again ... and again... and again.
Sava Serenity – A small piece of serenity. This is the next best thing to having an in-home spa. Joanna and her staff are not only professional and skillful at thier craft, but overall very personable and friendly. It is certainly worth the trip whether it's a block a way or a few miles away. Highly recommended.

When she opened her own Spa two years ago I followed her even though it meant a longer commute. Having a personal relationship with my aesthetician is important considering the services that I get on a regular basis.
