relax and wax – I have been a client of Sava spa for the past five years and have enjoyed all the services that they offer. I am especially impressed with their leg waxing . When I made an appointment for a full leg wax, they recommended that I only wax my lower leg wax because my upper leg was not very hairy. I really appreciated the honesty. Joanna named Best Esthetician of the Year – Sounds like someone has a personal axe to grind or why waste so much time & energy vilifying Sava & its staff? An angry FIRED ex-employee, perhaps? Certainly no customer walks in with a gun to her/his head. I've been going there for years - paid so much more elsewhere - but Sava is incomparable in quality of service. Great Escape – Today I had the most fun I've ever had getting a pedicure!!! I have been going to the Sava Spa since it opened, and for me it's a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of life in the big city. Superior Service-no two ways about it! – I was shocked when I read those negative and poorly written reviews of Sava Spa. I have been a client of the spa from the day it opened and I have had nothing but superior service from all the staff there. Look no further, Sava Spa is it! – I spent several wonderful hours at Sava Spa. Modern and clean design, yet very comfortable and calming. Extremely talented and friendly staff ( best manicure, best pedicure, artful eyebrow shaping, fantastic facial and a fabulous collection of casual, yet chic clothes. Average treatments, bad service, mean owner. I don't recommend. Grow your nails people. – I wish I could give a zero-star rating to this place. I agree with the other reviewer since something similar happened to me. I was held for 30 minutes before my treatment, and there was no renovation at that time ;/. As for the owner, I wouldn't mind her, but I noticed how awfully mean she was to one of the girls working there. She didn't even hide it, but scorned the girl in front of other costumers. Very Poor Service – I do not usually leave reviews on websites such as these, but I am a disappointed customer of Sava Spa and would like to speak out after the NY Times piece that was so glowing. I was a repeat customer of Sava spa until I had a negative experience last month. I had set up a massage appointment almost a month ahead of time. Best Spa care in the City--Hands down – Joanna, and her welcoming staff , are AMAZING. I have been going for brows and facials for 1 year now, and wholeheartedly feel that I've finally found the perfect blend of warmth and professionalism.
