I am not one to leave reviews whether positive or negative but I feel compelled to share my experience at Saugerties Animal Hospital. On Friday, October 2nd my 1yr 10 month old Maltipoo was attacked by a coyote in our yard. We called the Emergency Center in Kingston who told us to go to the closet vet in our area which was Saugerties Animal Hospital. All the vets and staff at Saugerties Animal Hospital saved Angel's life. She was at the vet for 13 days recovering after major surgery after having swallowed 10" of string, which tied up part of her intestines. Angel is 13 years old, I hear from the person from whom I had just adopted her. I had been trying out new names on her (I couldn't bring myself to call her by her old names) before she manifested with symptoms, and I had to suddenly decide on her name when I brought her to the vet. When my grandmother went into the nursing home, I took on the responsibility to take care of Chip her tuxedo cat. He unfortunately was very ill, and I took him in. Dr. Jackson, took a look at him. She was so nice, & very sweet to me & chip. I want to thank her so much for taking care of him when he needed any dr. visits or whomever took care of him when he was with her. But most of all Dr. Jackson it was 3-4 years ago. Thanks Saugerties Animal Hospital for doing what you do best.

We are beyond pleased with the care our dogs get from all the Dr.'s at Saugerties Animal Hospital . We highly recommend it there !!
For the past year, Saugerties Animal Hospital took care of my senior dog. It seemed like it was one thing after another, first arthritis, he was in great pain and with treatment including acupuncture, he was soon pain free. Then he had to have surgery and then diabetes.
