I grew up in the area and it is a fantastic park I even worked as a parking lot attendant at SPAC when I was in my 20's! It's a great park though it's got a lot to offer! I have a lot of great memories of picnicking there and meeting friends and the geysers it's just a great place.
This is a great park to go and drive through or hike or bike. Lot of great history. A must visit. Stop at visitors station for information and a short history of the park and info on the importance of the battle that took place.
