My blood sugar was in the 500s so my general practitioner told us to call 911 and get to the hospital. The ambulance crew suggested Saratoga Hospital rather than Albany. I was back with the staff long enough to give a blood sample then spent the next few hours in the waiting room. Three hours was long enough and I left. The ambulance crew was awesome, the hospital staff, not so much.

In response of Clark’s statement, and the defense of Saratoga Hospital that evening I went to the emergency room - the hospital was busy. The staff were busy, and I spoke to my husband briefly. Explained the best I could with Benadryl running through my veins due to being allergic to a test I was to have done. When the bloodwork came in I explained to him the findings, and that I would call when I knew more after I got the scan. Being impatient he kept calling the hospital over and over.
