My 19 month old was referred to Dr. Lewis. He had a small metal fragment stuck in his foot. It was very deep and we opted for surgery to remove it. As a mom my chest hurt knowing he had to be put to sleep for the procedure. Dr.Lewis was very comforting and eased my mind. When it came time for surgery she was very compassionate and picked my little one up and carried him to the surgery room at the hospital. I had Dr. Lewis as my podiatrist after I fell down some stairs overseas in Northern Ireland and ended up dislocating my ankle and having a tri mal tib-fib fracture in July 2024. Dr. Lewis and her team were outstanding! From the staff at the front desk to the xray technicians, nurses, and Doctor Lewis herself were welcoming and listened to my concerns every step of the way. I fractured my left fibula in a skydiving accident (first injury in 17 years skydiving). i have several friends that have had similar injuries, almost universally they warned me of the pain and lengthly recovery. Dr. Lewis was great! Spent a lot of time reviewing my injuries And discussed Tx options in depth. While i hope to make at least 17 years before another injury, if it does happen i will see Dr. Lewis (regardless of where i may live or she is practicing)
She is a very wonderful doctor and was very kind. Before I was having difficulty walking and because of her magical hands I’m now walking pain free. I really recommend her. Thank you Dr. Sara Lewis for your great work.
