When we started our search for a SLP to work with our toddler, Jennifer at Saplings Speech and Language Therapy came highly recommended and I can see why. She has a calm space & a kind gentle approach to helping kids unlock their communication potential. I really liked her holistic approach to speech therapy and ability to provide a warm welcoming space for neurodiverse kids. I'd highly recommend her if you are seeking a neurodiverse-aware Speech Language Pathologist.
Jennifer is extremely knowledgeable in the field of speech therapy and we are very grateful to have her as our son's SLP. Jennifer is so kind, patient, understanding, and easy to connect with. Jennifer has been absolutely great with my son! She is calm, systematic and at the same time, flexible with him. The space is very sensory friendly. We really love our sessions with her and my son is very interactive with her.
We started working with Jennifer in October, just before our little guy turned two. He had a very delayed vocabulary, and was becoming increasingly frustrated. Jennifer worked with all of us to teach us new ways to encourage him and within 3 months he was speaking in sentences and tracking with the expected language milestones. We were very encouraged with the work we did with Jennifer's help, and our little guy lights up and asks to go back whenever he hears the words "speech therapy" :).
