I am a registered nurse and a new employee to Santiam hospital. I have to say I have been nothing but impressed with the hospital and employees! It has been a breath of fresh air to find a company that values their employees as well as their patients! I look forward to many years to come with this amazing employer! Stayton and surrounding communities are lucky to have them!
In April 2013, my grandson, Little Roy, was brought into Santiam Hospital, lifeless, cool to the touch, barely breathing, and unresponsive. It was known that only a miracle could save this tiny, 6 month old baby. God granted our miracle and guided all the staff at Santiam Hospital, under the direction of Dr. Junn. I am thankful, grateful, and they will always hold a place in my heart for playing an instrumental role in saving the life of my grandson. Thank you to the entire Hospital ~ Grandma Liz
I received immediate help and kindness during my visit.
I would like to thank the nurses in intensive care who were amazing and took such good care of my mother in her last days. She couldn't have received better care in a nicer place and it was so deserved. Thank you so much. I remember Haly, Holly and Destiny but there were other nurses as well who made a hard time so much easier for us.
The ER is quick and efficient! I have always preferred bringing my Family to this hospital. Very welcoming.
Huge shout out to Dr. Maskell and the whole ER staff who was so awesome last night with my grandma in the ER, and previously in December with my daughter. I loved seeing how compassionate they all were with her, they treated her as if she was their own grandmother! So amazing, thank you all!!!!
