Menu has a Tuesday special for Mexican street tacos for $12 ($15 regular price). Got charged $17 for them and asked the waitress why. She said it was only valid with a drink purchase (not mentioned on the menu, menu just said valid for dine in only). Also was not sure why I was charged an extra $2 when the menu said the price was $15. I got the chicken and the carnitas so maybe there was an upcharge to mix and match (also not mentioned by the waitress or on the menu). I stop in weekly for the lunch special. Exceptional service and food is made to order fresh! Dominic is the manager and a great guy!
Santa Madre is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is so fun! The best part are the staff, none more so than Genesis. When we come, we ask to be seated in her section and every time we are greeted with a big smile and a wonderful attitude. She remembers our orders too and has asked how our lives are, trips, pets, and so on. Santa Madre is more than lucky to have her!
We absolutely adore Taco Tuesdays! Donovan was such a kind and patient soul. We love Tuesday special. Specially the street tacos The food was simply incredible! The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the ambiance was great.
