I recently accompanied my mom to Santa Lucia Surgical Center for her cataract surgery. Unfortunately, our experience with the waiting process wasn't ideal. We were scheduled for a 9:00 a.m. appointment and arrived early at 8:30 a.m., as instructed with fasting since the night before.
