I have been treated by Dr. Yoo for several years. He is exceptional at connecting with patients. His ability to listen and have compassion with patients is far above what I have seen with other practitioners. His cutting edge knowledge on pharmacology far outweighs his colleagues. I would not be here without his help.
I have been a patient of Dr Yoo for over 30 years. I have to say he has been my savior. Yes he may be so honest with you that you find him"awful" as the reviews state but sometimes people can't deal with construct I've criticism . If you want to get better it's a tough road and this is a doctor that will help if you can be honest with yourself and realize that he is a doctor that really cares. You will not find anyone better.

the worst phychiatrist out there. on my first visit he gave me four prescriptions. i decided not to take one of them being i wasn't comfortable taking it. ten days later i broke out in a full body rash that just kept getting worst & left me going to the er. was put in er observation & given iv meds for two days. now two days after being home from the hospital i am still suffering being my skin is so itchy & i feel like i have bugs crawling over me. i have to mention that what he diagnosed me with was 100% the wrong diagnosis... read more
His bedside manor is less than desirable. I did not feel at all comfortable with him. His demeanor was cold, abrupt and inpatient he made me feel even worse. I really couldn't wait to leave his office. Next time I will get reviews first before making an appointment with any new doctors!!!! I advise you all to do the same!!!!!
Dr. Yoo is a caring and helping Psychiatrist. He has helped me to overcome my problems with his knowledgeable approach.
After only 2 visits, I have learned that Mr. Yoo was not deserving of my trust or confidence. I would absolutely NOT recommend this "doctor" to anyone. His reviews all over the internet (not even including this one) are not positive. I will definitely be seeking a new doctor and suggest you do the same.
I've been going to him for 3 years and he always runs over 2 hours late to see me, recently I had given birth so I hadn't had to be reevaluated so that appointment would take longer, I had to get a sitter for my 4 kids before I left I called to ask if he was running late how long is the wait, my appointment was 5:30 she said he can see me at 6:30, at 6:30 she had two other people to go in before me, I told her I needed to be seen soon so I can get home to my kids and she said at this rate he won't see me till 7:30, then at 7... read more
