The editor is not afraid to let his journalists write real stories as they see them. No more feel good fluff but real reporting. It's become very good reading.
Just keeps getting better and better. I lamented the passing of the "first" Reader after we lost Zach Hagadone to Boise. Truth be told, I was not too impressed with the first few issues or its reincarnation, as it seemed to strive to not offend anyone. Now? Wow, just wow... This small, diverse community is gifted to have a weekly paper that offers real journalism and exists for that reason, not just a place to post ads.
Well obviously I'm biased to anything my hometown friends do... So I know this is going to be dope.
