We came up from Vancouver for a staycation. We came specifically for the waterslide and although it is a really fun water it is probably best for bigger kids. I myself LOVE the water slide but it is a very fast waterside and to advanced for my three year-old. We will definitely be back because it is a great waterslide in an amazing location with really good food nearby..
I booked an overnight stay for my little family of 3 to celebrate my 40th bday and I must say, this hotel is exceptional as far as our experience is concerned. The room we were given has the best access to the lobby, the breakfast area and the pool which I must say made the little one (an 8-year old girl) really really happy. She is literally asking’ mom and dad’ to extend the booking. LOL. The location too is just so perfect for our little get-away. Thank you to the pleasant staff! We will come back for sure.
Simple but very clean rooms. Convenient location. Our group also needed to make a last minute room change and the staff were incredibly patient and accommodating. Surprisingly well maintained amenities (gym/pool). Complimentary breakfast was also much nicer than most hotels of similar chains. Great value.
The front desk help Connor was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable about the great places to eat and he told us of a discount at a restaurant nearby. He was very helpful, kind and even offered the kids a complimentary snack pack as it is my daughter’s birthday celebration and she won the gold medal game at her hockey. We come to Squamish Whistler all the times and will be visiting Sandman again and will let our family know as well.
