We had an event at the COAST hotel we had two rooms booked there but they cancelled our rooms the day of the event with zero remorse trying to make us pay for a broom closet room with no windows. So we called Sandman and it was super easy friendly and respectable. The rooms were clean, the breakfast in the morning was delicious and front desk staff were super helpful and considerate!!!!
I actually visited this hotel when it was under construction in the early 1970s, so I was curious to see what it was like many years later. The rooms were pleasant and clean. The view of Lethbridge (from the 9th floor) was impressive - I could see the neighbourhood I grew up in. There have been security concerns in the area, but the hotel had a security guard stationed in the parking lot overnight. That was reassuring.
