This place is awesome! There is so much to do here. It is a community where well to do people live. Very nice houses and places to rent while on Summer vacation. But the best part is the Sandestin shopping center. You can walk around here, they have valet parking if you like and look at all the neat individualistic stores and restuarants. They usually always have something going on in the square - usually a band or a comic or something. Its always free. Its just a magial place. I definitely recommend coming here.
Something for Everyone! We just got back from a great weekend get away at Sandestin and I have to say I was more than impressed. They offer so much to do that we were there for 4 days and still did not have time to do or see everything. We stayed at the Player's Club and it was the perfect size for my family of 5. We went kayaking, walking thru Jolee Island, fishing, shopped at the wonderful Baytowne Wharf shops, ate some wonderful food, listened to great music, and shopped some more. great resort We just visited Sandestin a couple of weeks ago for short weekend get-away. What a fantastic place! We stayed at the Bayside Inn. We rented bikes one morning (free rentals) and just biked all over the resort. We love the Village at Baytowne Wharf. They have a brand new playground that our daughter loves. The restaurants are incredible. Our new favorite is Another Broken Egg. The resort atmosphere (free trams that will take you everywhere) reminds us so much of our beloved Disney.
