There's nothing better than breezing through the check-in process after a long day in traffic. Sanctuary Realty really nailed it this year: there's no waiting in line and you don't even have to leave the car. Check-out is also a breeze. The specific amenities of each unit vary, but our penthouse was extremely well stocked, nicely furnished, with spectacular views. Was the unit pricey? We have stayed here twice. Once in A307 and once in B420. A307 was oceanfront and we loved it. Everything was great. But when we came back we decided to save some money and we went for B420 which has a courtyard/pool view. The savings was indeed nice, but overall I found that for us, ok... me!... I really need that ocean view. It turns out my little was was sick much of the week requiring one of us to be inside. It was excruciating! making reservation was easy. check in was easy. the beach is beautiful....clean and spacious...not crowded. there is a very nice children's park within 5 minutes of walking. everything was very clean....constantly saw staff out cleaning the property. staff was nice, even checked us in early. We stayed oceanfront in building B.....well worth the cost! we didn't mind the drive in and out of the main town. we drove in to shop and eat daily and it was fine. we would definitely come back!

We stayed at The Sanctuary Resort Unit A117 Island Times and we were VERY pleased with the accommodations and the resort itself. It is on the bay side with a gorgeous view of the bay the sunsets were breath taking!!! The resort is beach front so we were just steps from the beach. location is fantastic. At the end of the island, right on the beach, and a short walk to a kids playground on the beach, and a short drive (or bike) to the back bay wildlife refuge. The back bay area is good for some light mountain biking, but it is quite hot there. We have stayed at the Sanctuary for several years and have rented units in both buildings. We have never had a problem as vacationers. The units we rented were always clean and had all the amenities that were advertised. Check-in anywhere can be challenging. That is why we always made it a point to arrive around 4:30. We never waited...
We rented a condo from Sanctuary realty. They are onsite and are great to work with. All the information we recieved about the units, checking in, and all the local attractions was very helpful and on target. I read some not so good reviews and we were a bit scared and I told the lady this when we were looking at different units and she was so comforting and reassuring that we would love it and well she was right we did. I wanted to post a review here becasue I had read mixed reviews before my trip. I have to say that we had a great time! We stayed in A306 and the condo was superb! The views were amazing and the unit could not have been any better stocked. When we pulled in at 3:30 there was a tent set up and a woman approached our car. We did not even have to get out of our car. She handed us our keys and information packet right through the window!
