Terrible company, and with all of these other reviewers, I am not alone. My problem is with the **********, which is one of Avenue5's apartments. 1) First of all there is an excessive amount of black mold around the apartment. 2) They are very reluctant to help with noisy neighbors, and charge excessive fees to move units. 3) They raise the rent excessively every year. 4) They do not respect military clause in their lease, I ended up having to live their a few months vacant due no help. 5) They charge unwarranted fees upon m... read more

This company recently purchased a property that I was already living in. I tested positive for Covid-19. I did the responsible thing and came home and quarantined. My car was parked in a legal public parking spot at the complex. The property had my car towed. It cost me $178 to get my car back. Now the manager is sending the office staff to argue with me about reimbursing me the money. Since they wrongfully towed my car. The manager is spineless and won't even talk with me about the situation.

I agree with Bradie A ! I am a tenant at Kent Place of 5 1/2 years now and agree with numerous other tenants with her complete post on Kent Place Properties on the BBB site. Since this letter to BBB was written numerous tenants were written a letter by Avenue 5's Legal counsel demanding that we Cease hostile communication with Avenue 5 management, owners, investors etc.. I am writing as one of and at the behest of MANY neighbors of mine at Kent Place Residences, managed by Avenue 5 Residential property managers, in Englewood, CO. Fifty or more of said neighbors have been actively involved in attempting to remedy the security, safety and management situations here, at our homes, for months now. If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would. STEER CLEAR!!!! Everyone I have ever known who has lived here, myself included, has been scammed. Here I am 8 months out of my lease, I REPEAT 8 MONTHS, since I have lived at this complex and I am sent an e-mail stating that I owe nearly $600. I was not sent an itemized invoice as CALIFORNIA LAW requires. I was only sent a screenshot of a PARTIAL itemized invoice after I called (multiple times) demanding to see it. These people are frauds and conniving tricksters who manipulate with willful knowledge of not being able to provide on lease terms and parkin. Attention dog lovers they will harass by having your dog impounded

Received a bill when I moved out for the carpet. Paid in full but they still sent it to collections and was being threatened by the collection agency to give them my debit card info or it would be put on to my credit report. I don't k know why these people think it's just ok to give my information to other people when they were paid in full. Had to make multiple calls to get it taken care of. While living here a lot of the stuff didn't make sense they wanted 400 for a pet deposit but your apartment came with free pet roaches... read more

This company some how came into ownership of my rental property while living there in the summer of 2018. Although we were told we had paid any last due payments for rent, water, or other services rendered through this company, 6 months later we got a letter in the mail saying we still owed $200. I then got a call from Kevin P*****, and he told me it was for "a community water bill" which I had never heard of in my entire stay at the complex. This is the worst experience I have ever had applying for an apartment. I live in Arizona and am moving to California end of June. Explained exactly what I wanted and was told it was available. Seems some temp employee made a mistake. Don't apply here if you live out of state as it is a big waste of time.
