This small, intimate restaurant, which opened in 1984, features Northern Italian cuisine. It is family-owned and operated by Nancy and Frank Grimaldi. Frank grew up in Italy as the son of two private chefs, and his skill in the kitchen has made San Marco one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. I never post reviews but for almost $30 a plate was surprised to get over cooked shrimp with no discount on meal! Blown away that nothing was done when I said shrimp were inedible. First time and last time very disappointed
I’ve been to lots of local restaurants all over WNY... San Marco is definitely some of the best authentic Italian food around. Friendly service, cozy lay back atmosphere, perfect for a date night or a family dinner. Can’t wait to go back and try the entire menu. Thank you, staff! 🇮🇹 🍝

Been going there for over 25 years. Elmwood and Kensington. Incredible food. Grimaldis are great people!
Have been here many times over the past years and always have a fantastic meal. Ordered “curbside” last night due to COVID 19 - I usually hate “to go” food but they did an AMAZING job. Order was perfect, one time, delicious and they even did restaurant plating in the containers! Please support this wonderful family owned restaurant - they are great people and this place is a real gem!
One of our favorite restaurants... and is now available for take-out. Tonight we ordered the wild boar in a barolo wine sauce with mushroom risotto and my all-time favorite dish.....Fusilli alla Luciana (pasta and chicken in a sun-dried tomato, brandy cream sauce). Wow!
