Dr Smith replaced 2 difficult crowns (botch job by previous dentist). Twice he has not liked their fit on xrays. Both times he replaced them with no charge. He stands by his work. Not only is Dr Smith outstanding, I can say the same for his staff. Both Tripp and Sue went above and beyond the call of duty for me recently. A big thank-you to san Juan Dental.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Dr Smith is one of the best dentists I have ever had the good fortune to find. In addition, his staff are outstanding. Kudos to Brit; an excellent hygienist. The front desk folks are congenial, informative and accommodating. And then there is Sue - the soul of San Juan Dental.
I was quoted a little over a $1,000 for a crown.The tooth had a cavity the dentist never saw in the X-ray. Not sure how one dentist missed it , while Eric the owner saw it right away? Turns out I needed a root canal on the tooth before the crown. Cost me $2000 . Unhappy!! Would have liked to been told The total expense up front.
I was very impressed by Dr. Bassin, her expertise, and the good work she did for me. I am very disappointed in the employees there who promise to return calls right away on urgent dental matters, and then I never hear back. I left several messages for the hygienist, Nadine Carter. Six weeks later, when I was finally able to get her on the phone, she led with, "I only have a minute and I can't help you anyway". I would give Dr. Bassin 5 stars; however, I would give the clinic overall only 2 stars. Cindi G.
My husband and I both have been seeing Dr. Eric Smith of San Juan Dental in Pagosa Springs, CO. and highly recommend him. Dr. Smith offers a great dental plan--Pagosa Plan-- for his patients, so if you are without dental insurance, you can also save some bucks (10% discount) on any work you need to have done and get two cleanings and complete exams, an emergency exam, and all x-rays as well. Voted Best Dentist in the World - (by my kids) I welcome you to our beautiful Pagosa Location. Please note any reviews prior to July 2015 have nothing to do with our practice, they are incorrectly produced.
Very disappointed with this business. They charged me for a service I never received and, despite repeated requests to be reimbursed for the service I did not receive, they have ignored me. Never called to cancel an appointment, and the receptionist is very rude.
