The nurses were uncaring and rude most of the time. When I was admitted the moved me to three different rooms within the first 4 hours I was there, before I was finally allowed to rest. When my husband was admitted there I had to stay the entire time because I was afraid they would make a mistake with his treatment, they were unwilling to contact Standford to Obtain his medical records to understand the Complexity of his illness. I will never go there again even though it is the nearest hospital to our home.
Everything is right there, from lab to MRI's. Urgent care is helpful in what ever it takes to make you comfortable until you get seen. Usually in and out in an hour or so.
This is my second appointment here in 2 months and they are late on my appointment both times. I was asked to come at 1:45pm today and it's been almost 30mins still waiting. It is very uncomfortable when you were requested to drink 8oz of water and not to urinate for the ultrasound. When I came up to front desk they responded with "any second." I called the gastroenterology department this morning and I'm put on hold. Perfectly normal. But 3 minutes later, someone answers the phone and then HANGS UP? So I call RIGHT BACK and now there's a wait?.... In the background the first time, I heard people chitchatting. Who doesn't know how to at least put the line on hold? Still waiting....
