When five San Diegans met in 1881 to incorporate the San Diego Gas Company, they formed an enterprise that would serve a city whose population had just passed 3,000. It shouldn't be this much of a pain to set up power for a new apartment. Code verification doesn't work. When setting a start date, it insists that the year 2024 isn't in range, but the year 0002 is? Calling them leads to a useless robot.
I have never had no bad experience they've been polite helping me and my needs I've been going through a lot and they helped me to fix my payments my bill trying the best to help me out thank you so much I don't have no bad to say about San Diego gas & electric I appreciate your help
Their smart meters were falsely overcharging so went to analog for both gas and electric. Much better now. Suggest that you switch to analog and monitor it every month for usage including photos of the meters to make sure there is no cheating. Easier to catch cheating with a analog meter.
The most inefficient company I have ever interacted with. I didn't receive my bill because they didn't list my unit number on their end when I started service. They said it was my job to figure out what I owed and when I tried to pay they said they couldn't accept. That I had to call their third party THEN call SDGE back to tell them I paid.
Excellent and professional service from Javier Jorge who took care of my old and corroded meter!
