Ever since my childhood, I had a genuine love for bicycles. I rode bicycles in my youth, teenage years, and up until my early twenties when turn of events separated me from my hobby. In early 1998 I leased the current location of San Diego Bike Shop to start a Pedicab business; where by appearance, a rudimentary bicycle repair shop attracted bicyclists passing by to make requests for repairs and parts. I am disabled and my bike is my physical and emotional therapy! I came in to the shop expecting to have to spend money I could not afford to spend but the Gentleman who attended me, instead of trying to sell me more than I really needed, told me, step by step, how to fix my bike! There are not many businesses like that anymore! I am very grateful for this local business that obviously values it's customers!
I love a store that is privately owned and operated. The owner is there almost each and every day and helps customers personally. I just purchased a new cannondale road bike and was very impressed with the competitive pricing. The personalized service is what convinced me to purchase here.
We bought 2 new bikes from Mo yesterday. Great service and very helpful making sure we got what fit us the best. They serviced the bikes and added all the goodies we needed while we waited. We rode them home from there. I would recommend SD Bike Shop to anyone looking for a good bike and also good service.
We bought a Biria road/town style here. 2 years later we are still putting huge miles inn the bike. San Diego bike shop is always on it with the small maintenance issues that arise. MO is the best.
