Our washer had started behaving unpredictably during the wash cycle. Sometimes it would fill and run normally, while other times it would stop without finishing. The control board was checked and showed signs of a fault. After replacement, the machine was run through several parts of a complete cycle. It filled, washed, drained, and spun without stopping. Having the machine finish a load on its own again was definitely a welcome change.

Our Samsung dryer in Del Mar stopped producing heat and every load came out damp. The technician diagnosed a failed heating element and replaced it during the visit. Our refrigerator had started leaking a small amount of water near the bottom of the door. At first it was barely noticeable, but the puddle became larger over the next few days. The technician checked the drain area and door seal and found that the gasket was no longer sealing properly. He replaced it and checked the door alignment afterward. The refrigerator is closing much better now and there has not been any more water on the floor. I was glad it turned out to be a straightforward repair.

The washing machine would start normally but stop as soon as it reached the spin portion of the cycle. Sometimes it would show an error, and other times it would simply sit there with the clothes still soaking wet. I had already tried unplugging it and running a different cycle, but nothing helped.
