I have taken my animals to Dr Merritt's dad, Skip Tewell and continue to have my pets cared for by Dr Merritt. She's an awesome vet, very compassionate and thorough. Plus, she recognizes that my dogs are real rock stars!!
We had to put our 15 year old golden retriever Lily down last week. Dr. Merritt and her staff were so very supportive and empathetic. During such an emotional and heart breaking moment, I couldn't of asked for a better, more supportive experience. My family and I are truly thankful and grateful for their kindness. I took my very sick 11 year old dachshund here. He tested positive for pancreatitis and in all the years I've had him I've never seen him this sick. Dr Merritt quickly assessed him and ran the test. After a 3 day hospital stay he was way better! Thank you Dr Merritt and staff! You guys are awesome!
I'm horrified. I brought my puppy in for her first shots to prevent her from getting parvo and i ended up having to go back. They checked for parvo only to find it positive and was told they didn't check BEFORE administering the vaccine. Why wouldn't they check? Word of advice, make sure u ask if testing had been done before u pay for vaccines that are going to make things worse.

I will be forever grateful for the amazing care my beloved dog received at this clinic! They treat everyone with such care and compassion and are very professional and affordable.
My dog, Axy, was having seizures in the middle of the night, and when I called Dr. Merritt, she came and met me up at her hospital with her husband. They administered some injections to stop the seizures, and since then, she has never had another seizure. She is her happy rambunctious self! Thank you so much for answering that call in the middle of the night!!!
